Ten years ago Hardall joined forces with US-based 'Transvac Systems' to offer clients a unique mix of gravity chute and pneumatic trash and linen systems.  Our most notable project to date is  the installation of a pneumatic trash and linen system for the new £55 million Causeway hospital in Coleraine Northern Ireland.

The installation comprises of a dual pipe system serving 5 risers over 3 storeys and a single trash pipe serving a 6th 'uplift' station.  The complete installation is controlled by a PLC/PC computer complete with graphical interface to monitor the status of the system.  This project which was completed in September 2001 took some 18 months from initial design to installation and has been one of our most ambitious to date.
