Specifically designed to clean the total vertical length of the internal surfaces of all chutes.  The system is factory fabricated as an integral unit ready for immediate on-site connection.

A cylindrical housing with replaceable stiff nylon brushes is automatically lowered and raised by a geared electric motor.  The nylon brushes scrape and clean the internal surface as they move down and up the chute.

The water supply for flushing the chute, the electric motor and the built in safety overloads are all individually controlled by a robust electric logic control circuit.  A remote control panel is normally situated within the bin store at ground floor level.

The cylindrical housing with stiff nylon brushes in manually lowered and raised using a high geared winch mechanism which has a ratchet for operator safety.   The water supply to the disinfectant & sanitising unit is manually controlled by two valves, one to turn the water on or off and the other to control the water flow rate.

A manual system is only recommended on buildings up to 5 storey's high.

Disinfectant & Sanitising Unit

Designed to give manual or automatic flushing of the internal surfaces of the chute, always used in conjunction with a cleaning system.

Fitted above the topmost entry section of the refuse chute as part of an automatic or manual cleaning system or on its own.

Simple to operate and maintain, a disinfectant & sanitising unit is recommended for use with every refuse chute installation as a means to help overcome strong odours.

Requirements
Tank fed water supply (15-25 Gallon capacity), ¹/₂ Bar pressure, 15mm connection.
220/240 volts, 50/60Hz 1-phase for stand alone automatic system.
Industrial grade disinfectant contained in 5L container.
