Designed to be environmentally safe, the Harpac range of
fully portable compactors are 100% leak proof and odour free, thus totally eliminating all
unsightly spillage’s and leaks.
Space saving
Whilst larger than the 500 series of portable compactors, the 1000 series offers 5
space saving sizes for most major installations. Simple to install, just drop onto a
prepared concrete base and connect to a trailing electric cable from an adjacent power
supply.
Easy Disposal
The Harpac 1000 series of portable compactors can be picked up, transported and
emptied by any standard hook- lift or pull-on type container vehicle.
Applications
Suitable for most external applications and with the correct vehicular access for many
internal applications. High compacting power ensures high pay loads. The very
large loading aperture will take most types of industrial, commercial and catering waste.
Ideally suitable for major Hospitals, large Hotels, catering establishments, corporate
HQ's, theme parks, anywhere where waste is produced in significant volumes.
Ancillary Equipment
Although primarily designed for manual loading this compactor range can also be
supplied with either an independent or integral mechanical front or side loader for
emptying wheeled containers of all sizes up to 1100 litre capacity. (For

this machine could also be chute fed.
Safety & Quality
Standard features on each 1000 series compactor include: Safety interlock on the
manual loading lid, an electric timer to minimise power usage, heavy duty rubber seals on
the rear unloading doors and front manual loading lid, to give 100% leak and odour
proofing. In addition, to give maximum packing power, the ram penetrates inside the
compaction container by 100mm whilst the fully rounded corners of the container allows the
densely packed waste to discharge easily when emptying.
Sizes
The Harpac 1000 series portable compactor is available in five sizes. 16, 18,
20, 24 & 28m3. (note: 28m3 machine is not
recommended for UK due to size of collection vehicle required)
